Description

Job Opportunity: Ambulatory RN – Colon and Rectal Surgery Center (Travel)

Specialty: Clinic (Colon and Rectal Surgery Center)
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Support the cancer program, with a focus on colorectal cancer and patient navigation (experience in this area is a strong plus).
  • Triage patient calls and support multiple outpatient clinics.
  • Work within a division consisting of 4 surgeons, 2 nurse practitioners, and 3 RNs.
  • Orientation occurs weekly (every Monday, except holidays).
  • Shift options:
    • 10-hour day shift (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
    • 8-hour shifts

Requirements

  • MA license required at submission.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • BLS (AHA) certification required.
  • Flu vaccine required prior to start.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise.
  • Candidates who have worked for this health system as permanent or per diem staff within the last six months are not eligible (must have a six-month separation).

Additional Information

  • Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time).
  • Parking may cost up to $43/day; public transportation options are available.
  • All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission.
