Unit Information

Equipment Used: Pyxis, Hoyer lift, Sara Steady, Welch Allen VS machines, Dynamaps, Hover mat for patient transfers
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Floating Areas: Other medical-surgical units and telemetry possible
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs; navy, black, or white jacket and undershirt

Required Qualifications

Licenses: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Experience: Inpatient hospital nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIH)
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
