Travel RN Opportunity - Richmond, Virginia

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)

• Location: Richmond, VA
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: Must be available to start on the 1st or 5th of the month

Unit Information

• Unit: Women’s Health Unit
• Number of Beds: 15
• Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
• Staffing: 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) per shift
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling Requirements: 4 weekend days per contract (weekend nights are Saturday and Sunday)
• Floating Policy: As needed
• Patient Experience Initiatives: Whiteboards, Bedside Shift Report, Hourly Safety Rounds, Key Words

Required Skills & Experience

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty (RN)
• Background: Medical/Surgical experience preferred
• Procedures Performed on Unit: Bladder challenges, vaginal packing
• Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Licenses: Valid Registered Nurse License
