CT Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Job Details

- Saturday-Sunday: 7 AM - 7 PM
- Monday: 3 PM - 11 PM
- License Requirements: Must have Virginia license or Compact license at submission
- Certifications Required:
- ARRT
- ARRT-CT
- BLS/CPR
Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospital setting
- Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
Unit & Work Environment
- Unit: Swift Creek ER, 12-bed freestanding ER with 7 vertical fast track area
- Patient Volume: Average 80 patients per day, 100+ during winter surge
- Patient Ratios: 4-8 patients per nurse
- Equipment: GE Optima CT scanner, GE portable x-ray
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, Sectra
- Scheduling: Approximately 36 hours per week, rotating weekends and holidays, no on-call required
- Floating Policy: Not required
- Work Culture: Excellent teamwork and culture with high patient experience scores (>80 percentile)
- Unit Characteristics: Busy, high-acuity freestanding ER with moderate pediatric volume
- Procedures: Normal ER procedures; no surgical procedures or biopsies performed on unit
Job Expectations
- Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray modalities, often as single staff coverage
- Professional, friendly, and strong communication skills required
- Advanced skills needed for Acute Stroke Ready environment
Dress Code
- Grey scrubs required
