Travel RN Opportunity - Richmond, Virginia

Position Details

• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital setting
• Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active Virginia RN license required at time of submission
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
  • CPR certification required

Unit Information

• Unit Name: Stress Lab
• Number of Beds: 3
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 or 1:1
• Staffing: RNs, echo techs, EKG techs, director
• Equipment: GE monitors, stress treadmills
• Documentation Systems: Maclab, Expanse
• Scheduling: Four 9-hour shifts per week
• Floating Policy: None
• Dress Code: Scrubs in ceil blue or navy

Skills & Procedures

• Experience with conscious sedation, cardiac base care, telemetry
• Cardioversion and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE) experience required
• Advanced skills needed: ACLS and CPR
• Procedures performed on unit: cardioversion, TEE, conscious sedation

Work Environment

• Very close-knit unit with a strong relationship with cardiology
• Performs 6-10 procedures daily
• Emphasis on good bedside manner and respectful communication

Additional Requirements

• Must hold all required certifications and licenses before starting
• Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
