Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel)

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida

Position Details

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Facility Info:

  • 2 CT scanners, 2 tables
  • 2 CT Techs per shift (day and night), 12-hour shifts
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Equipment: GE Discovery 450, 1.5 Tesla
  • EMR system: Meditech

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT Certification (required)
  • BLS (required)
• Licenses: Radiology Tech License
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT Tech specialty (highest required)
• Preferred Skills:

  • ACLS (preferred but not required)
  • RT (T), ASRT, FASRT certifications (preferred)

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment

Work Environment & Expectations

• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work independently
• No on-call required
• Willingness to work weekends and night shifts
• Dress code: All black scrubs required

• Facility accredited by the Joint Commission
• Certified Primary Stroke Center
• 5-star recipient for heart attack treatment for 11 consecutive years
