Job Opportunity: Pre-Op RN (Massachusetts)
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Position Details
- Pre-Op RN position
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly (does not include on-call time)
- Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Weekends and holidays required
- On-call requirements:
- One 24-hour weekend shift per month
- Three night calls per month (11 PM to 7 AM)
- 30-minute response time on call
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years recent pre-op nursing experience required
Testing & Onboarding
- Pass/fail ECG/Telemetry test and Medications test during onboarding (one attempt only)
- Tests administered remotely via Zoom prior to assignment
- Passing score: 85%
- No opportunity for retake or remediation
- Study guide provided to prepare for tests
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must submit BILH coversheet at time of submission
- Only pre-op candidates will be considered
- No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility)
- Travelers who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible (6-month separation required)
- Time off requests must be submitted at time of application

- Interview scheduling required at time of submission
