Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 10-hour day shifts
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call coverage required (including independent on-call for trauma)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Vocational or Technical training in Radiologic Technology
• Radiology MA License required
• Registration as RT (Radiologic Technologist) ART required
• Ability to work independently in IR procedure rooms and manage on-call trauma cases
• Experience with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Scrub and circulator experience
• Extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices (PE/Stroke)
• Experience with angiographic procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
• CT experience required; must be able to perform both CT and IR procedures

Additional Information

• Contract guarantees 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
• Orientation held weekly (every Monday except holidays)
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
• Candidates who have worked for this health system in any capacity within the last 6 months are not eligible
• Parking may cost up to $43/day in some locations

This position is ideal for experienced IR Technologists comfortable with independent work, on-call trauma coverage, and a variety of advanced IR and CT procedures.
