• Unit: Intermediate Care (IMC)
• Number of Beds: 34
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 4 patient care techs
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 4 patient care techs
• Patient Ratio: 4:1
• Typical Equipment: Bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, Hoyer lift
• EMR System: Not specified
• Permanent Positions Available: Yes
• Call Requirements: No on-call required
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekends: Yes

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Required Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification
• Required Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Years of Experience: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Typical Procedures Performed

• Emergent chest tube placement
• Midlines or PICC lines
• Emergent bedside bronchoscopy

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• CATN, TCAR, or TCCN certifications
