Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Sauk Centre, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Position requires ability to perform both CT Tech and X-Ray Tech duties.
  • Mammography skills/experience is a major plus but not required.
  • Shift: Alternating 4x8 and 5x8 day shifts, start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM.
  • Call: 1-2 shifts per week.
  • Weekend work: Every 4th weekend.
  • 72 hours per pay period.
  • Accepts first-time travelers.
  • Traveler's primary residence must be at least 25 miles from the facility.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • ARRT-R (Radiography)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • CT Certification
  • Mammography experience preferred but not required
  • EPIC experience preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • Criminal background check within 1 year of start, including multi-level searches (7-year, SS trace, counties, sex offender, nationwide).

  • GSA/SAM and OIG excluded provider checks required.
  • Minnesota DHS NetStudy Fingerprint clearance required prior to start; candidates cannot start with fingerprints pending unless a “more time needed” letter is approved.
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start.
  • Drug testing (9 panel) within 1 year of start; not required annually.
  • Immunizations and health screenings required:
    • Tdap vaccination (no religious declinations accepted)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray per Minnesota state guidelines
    • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) proof of immunity or vaccination
    • Hepatitis B vaccination, positive titer, or declination
    • Varicella immunity or vaccination
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined)

Additional Requirements and Information

  • Two references from recent employers within 2 years required.
  • Skills checklist required for all clinical candidates.
  • Education modules (~16 hours) completed during orientation.
  • Dress code: RRTs wear dove gray (light gray) scrubs.
  • Candidates must sign confidentiality agreement prior to start.
  • Badge photo required (grey background, no selfies or professional photos unless headshot).
  • Candidates must return badges on last day of assignment.
