Description
Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, 9.5-hour shifts (4x9.5s)
- Night shifts: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM
- Monday through Thursday
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
- Prior travel experience not required (First-time travelers are welcome)
- Experience with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients required
- Neonates and infants experience preferred
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) required
- NICU and PICU experience preferred
Certifications & Licenses Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography)
- Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (verify with recruiter or facility)
Skills & Technical Requirements
- Proficiency with PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) and contrast administration required
- Experience with biopsies and IV starts preferred
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years
- Education verification and transcript/diploma as applicable
- Foreign equivalency evaluation if education was obtained outside the U.S.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- TB test (Qgold/TSPOT) within 6 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Fit mask test (N95) completed within the current calendar year and updated annually (exceptions apply)
- Physical exam (if applicable)
- References: 2 supervisory references required from recent assignments (clinical positions)
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
- Work history verification for the last 5 years through a third-party vendor
Additional Notes
- The client has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling
- Mandatory completion of compliance documents by the deadline prior to start date
- Facility-specific policies such as floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment must be reviewed and signed
- Badge photo must meet strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire, forward-facing pose)
- EPIC test and pass/fail testing (e.g., EKG/Dysrhythmia) may be required depending on specialty and unit
- Some certifications and competencies may be required or preferred depending on the specific unit or role (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)
This position offers a great opportunity for radiology/cardiology professionals with at least 1 year of experience, including those new to travel assignments. The role requires a broad range of clinical experience across patient age groups and care settings, along with specific technical skills and certifications.
