Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Emporia, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Experience & Licensure Requirements

• Minimum 1.5+ years of experience in specialty
• Current KS State License
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred/required depending on role specifics

Certifications & Competencies

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required for ER roles
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam required for applicable roles
• Competency exams as applicable by profession

Health & Background Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (annual TB questionnaire required)
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Seasonal flu vaccination or documented declination (mask required if declining during flu season)
• Drug screening: 9 or 10 panel drug screen within 6-12 months prior to start
• Background checks including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender, EPLS/GSA/SAM, and HHS/OIG (updated annually)

Documentation & Compliance

• Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Facility-specific forms for flu vaccine declination and COVID exemptions (religious or medical)
• National tech certification verification as applicable
• State license primary source verification
• Skills checklist required annually
• Professional references:

  • 2 for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
  • 1 for Per Diem Non-Acute Care (within 3 years)
