Position Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Transplant & Cellular Therapy Clinic
- Beds: 14 exam rooms, 21 infusion bays, 5 treatment rooms
- Staffing: 18 staff members
- Day Shift includes:
- 1 Front Office RN
- 4 Office RNs
- 2 Medical Assistants
- 2 Fast Track RNs
- 4 Infusion RNs
- 1 Infusion Room CNC
- 1 Infusion Room PCT
- Patient Ratios:
- Office RN: 10:1
- Infusion RN: 6:1
- Equipment: IV Pumps, Remote Patient Monitoring
- EMR System: Meditech
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 1 year
- Must Have:
- Oncology background
- Chemotherapy experience
- Preferred:
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience
- Immune Effector Cell Therapy experience
Typical Procedures
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Administration
- Stem Cell Infusion (pre and post care)
- Immune Effector Cell Infusion and patient management
Certifications & Licenses
- Registered Nurse License (RN)
- BLS Certification
- Chemotherapy Certification (required)
Work Environment & Expectations
- Floating Areas: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and Oncology Inpatient Units
- Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
- Schedule: Every other weekend shifts
