Description
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Contract Opportunity
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Licensure:
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer (must have or obtain by start of assignment)
- Certification:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (based on specialty years of experience interpretation)
- At least 2 years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
- Ability to perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
- Skills & Preferences:
- Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
- Experience with venipuncture
- Familiarity with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
- Experience with procedures such as biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus
Additional Information
- Shifts may vary by need; no on-call required
- Must have or obtain Hawaii license before starting
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
- Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
