Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - Contract Opportunity

Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Licensure:

  • Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer (must have or obtain by start of assignment)
• Certification:

  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging (based on specialty years of experience interpretation)
  • At least 2 years of work experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Ability to perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
• Skills & Preferences:

  • Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
  • Experience with venipuncture
  • Familiarity with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging
  • Experience with procedures such as biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is a plus

Additional Information

• Shifts may vary by need; no on-call required
• Must have or obtain Hawaii license before starting
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday
