Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position

Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (07:30 AM to 08:00 PM)
• Scheduled shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• No on-call required

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty (Radiology / Cardiology)
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC system experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA, RQI, or ARC only; must have physical card, no online-only cards accepted
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only; must have physical card
• ARRT (R) (CT) certification required
• State License verification with no pending actions; must be valid and verified within 30 days of start
• Additional certifications may be required depending on unit assignment (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background check: 7-year history within 12 months of start, including alias and county/state searches
• Drug screening: 5-panel drug test within 1 year of start, updated annually
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Physical exam within 1 year attesting ability to perform job duties
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within last 10 years (for certain high-risk areas)
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption required annually (not required for remote workers)
  • Documentation for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B as applicable
• Respirator fit test completed onsite during orientation (N95 masks commonly used)

Orientation & Testing

• Online orientation modules must be completed within 72 hours of assignment
• Pre-assignment testing (medication and arrhythmia tests) required within 72 hours of receiving login
• Candidates have 2 attempts to pass required tests; failure results in cancellation
• EKG practice test and study guide provided for applicable roles

Additional Notes

• Hunter Green scrubs are not provided
• Badge photo required prior to start (passport-style, plain background, no alterations)
• Floating policy must be signed (not required for non-clinical roles)
• Various competency exams and annual training required (Core Parts I, II, III)
• Medication competency exam required for positions that dispense medication
• Candidates must carry a valid driver's license for computer access setup
• Facility is latex-free environment
