MRI Technician - Overnight Shift (LTA)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Position: MRI Technologist
• Shift: 12-hour overnight shifts on Wednesday and Thursday
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Required Credentials & Certifications

• BLS Certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)
• ARRT Certification
• Professional License/Certificate Verification (Primary source verification required; MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually
• MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30); no exemptions allowed
• TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Optional but Preferred: Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity, Tdap vaccine within 10 years

Background & Professional Checks

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start date, including international searches if applicable
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start date
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
• Exclusion Checks: OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists within 30 days prior to start date and annually
• Social Security Number Trace: Must be run with criminal background check covering last 7 years
• Education Verification: Highest level of education verified through background check company

Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
• Skills checklist
• Candidate submission coversheet

Additional Notes

• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required as part of fit test documentation
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray (dated after positive test)
• No religious exemptions for fit test or influenza vaccine
