Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Greensboro, North Carolina
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 7 weeks (interpreted from 7)
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Days, 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Thursday - Saturday
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required (higher value confirmed)
- Prior travel experience not required (first-time travelers are welcome)
Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC
- ARRT CT certification
- Peds, Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric experience required; Neonates and Infants preferred
- Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, ICU experience required; NICU, PICU preferred
- PACS and Contrast experience required; Biopsies and IV starts preferred
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
- Background Check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including:
- Social Security Trace with all aliases
- National Criminal Search
- Federal Court
- National Sex Offender
- FACIS Level 3
- Education Verification
- International Searches if applicable
- Foreign Equivalency Education Evaluation if education obtained outside the U.S.
- Transcript/Diploma for highest education (if applicable)
- Fingerprinting (NC SBI Fingerprint Results) required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions
- Education Verification and High School Diploma/GED Verification as applicable
- Facility-specific photo for badge (strict requirements: no selfies, solid color background, business casual/uniform attire, forward-facing pose)
- Health History Form completion required prior to clearance
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam (if applicable)
- Fit Mask test (annual, specific approved N95 respirators)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine proof required
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (Qgold/TSPOT within 6 months)
- TB Questionnaire (updated annually)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Hepatitis B: Titer or declination required
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 40 days of start (includes THC, opiates, cocaine, etc.)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required annually
Testing & Competency Exams
- EPIC Test (if applicable) with passing score required
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Dysrhythmia) required for RNs except Behavioral Health & Case Managers; must score 82% or higher
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable; must score 80% or higher
- Color Blind Testing Online (if applicable)
- Competency Exam as applicable; must score 80% or higher
Licensure & Verification
- State License primary source verification within 30 days of start (as applicable)
- NURSYS verification for RN, LPN/LVN, AP within 60 days of start
- Employment Application/Resume with 7-year work history required
- Work History Verification for last 5 years through third-party vendor
- Two supervisory references required for clinical positions (one within 12 months, one within 24 months)
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Compliance deadline is 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date
- Annual skills checklist required with a one-week grace period for renewal
- Floating policy and contractor equipment acknowledgment forms must be reviewed and signed
- Facility has strict education verification policies; diploma fraud checks apply
