Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Radiology Recovery)

Location: Seattle, Washington

Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse (Radiology Recovery)
  • Shift: Day shift with self-scheduling; start times vary between 7:00 AM, 8:00 AM, or 7:30 AM on weekends. On-call required at the end of shifts.

Required Skills and Certifications

Orientation and Onboarding Requirements

  • No Return to Office during first two weeks due to orientation
  • Photo for badge required within 72 hours of contract signing; must be on a blue background (no hats or headwear)
  • Completion of facility-specific modules prior to start (approx. 8 hours)
  • Math test administered onsite upon arrival (proctored, remediation allowed if failed)
  • EKG/Dysrhythmia competency exam required for Radiology Recovery RN (passing score 80%)
  • Competency exams and skills checklists required, including pediatric competency exams
  • Respiratory protection training provided via facility platform; fit testing required before start (no onsite fit testing allowed)
  • Background checks including 7-year criminal history, FACIS 3, county civil searches, national criminal database, and others as specified
  • Drug screening: 12-panel drug test within 1 year of start, covering specific substances
  • Physical exam within 1 year required
  • Immunizations and titers required: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, TB screening (Qgold/Tspot or PPD), Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • Respiratory medical clearance required for respirator use (RespSafety clearance)
