Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Nights

Location: Cushing, Oklahoma

Job Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Behavioral Health Nights)
• Licensure:

  • Oklahoma or Compact nursing license required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required at time of submission
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) or MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) required as applicable
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, CHEMO, TNCC certifications required as applicable
• Experience:

  • No explicit years of experience stated; assume standard RN experience for behavioral health
• Prior Travel Experience:

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
  • Education verification of highest level required
  • Fingerprinting required for new contracts (specific to some states)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
  • Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Immunizations or positive titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
  • Color blind testing required
  • Core competency exams required annually for subcontractors
• Other Documentation:

  • Valid driver’s license or state ID
  • Photo for badge
  • Complete employment application/resume
  • Unit-specific skills checklist annually
  • 7-year work history verification
