Job Opportunity: Technologist - Electrophysiology (Days)
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
- Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units
- EMR system: EPIC
- Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
- Call back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
- On-call pay available
- Charge/Precept pay available
Specialty & Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
- Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required
- Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL required
- CEPS or RCES certification desired but not mandatory
- Professional references from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months preferred
- Valid Driver’s License required
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac Cath lab experience preferred
- Prior travel experience is not required but desired
Additional Information
- Orientation dates available: February 2 and February 16
- Facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a strong cardiac care program
- Known for comprehensive cancer care and rehabilitation services
- Teaching hospital with a long history of nursing and medical education
This position is ideal for experienced Electrophysiology Technologists seeking a temporary assignment in a well-established regional medical center with opportunities to work across multiple campuses.
