Nursing Contract Opportunity

Location: State College, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional nursing care based on current nursing knowledge using the nursing process.
• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation of nursing measures, and evaluation of care effectiveness.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and staff, supporting effective and harmonious communication.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism, emotional tolerance, and sound judgment when interacting with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Preference given to candidates with EPIC patient charting experience.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous RN experience required.

Licenses and Certifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Pennsylvania.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting American Heart Association standards, with renewal every two years.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to function effectively as a team member and communicate professionally at all times.
