Description

Job Opportunity: Family Medicine

Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Specialty & Experience Requirements

  • Specialty: Family Practice or Internal Medicine
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 3+ years
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)

Job Description

  • Work primarily involves in-basket management and triaging, answering phones, prescription refills, patient education, prior authorizations, etc.
  • Occasional assistance with rooming patients and in-office procedures.
  • Patient population ranges from birth to geriatrics.
  • Common patient visits include routine and sick visits, follow-ups, diabetes management, hypertension, annual exams, immunizations, and Medicare annuals.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • No weekend rotation, no on-call, no holiday expectations

Required Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Facility & Support

  • Team includes 1 MD, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 7 Medical Assistants, 6 Registered Nurses, and a supervisor.
  • Lab and imaging services available on site.
  • EMR system: EPIC (preferred)
  • No floating required.

Orientation

  • New Employee Orientation (NEO) provided
  • Orientation lasts the remainder of the first week
