Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp, Inpatient (Days)
Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Job Details
- Employment Type: Temporary
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Work Setting: Inpatient
- Schedule: Day shifts
- Floating: May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Local Candidates: Not allowed; candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility
- Interdisciplinary Team: Participate as a contributing member providing professional and clinical care management
Requirements
- Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years of current inpatient Physical Therapist experience required
- Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel contract completed preferred (not required)
- Licensure: Active Iowa Physical Therapist license required at time of submission
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC)
- Documentation:
- Work history/resume showing 24 months of inpatient PT experience
- Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline
- Driver’s license required
- References: Professional reference or performance evaluation from charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months preferred
Additional Information
- EMR system used: EPIC
- Orientation offered on multiple dates from February through November
- OT and call back pay multipliers apply (details not included here)
This position is ideal for experienced inpatient Physical Therapists who are open to temporary assignments and meet licensure and certification requirements. Prior travel contract experience is preferred but not mandatory.
