Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Patient assignments typically range from 5-7 patients (Nurse:Patient ratio).

Specialty & Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Required Experience: Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown experience (surgical/post-op surgical experience required)
• BLS certification required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must be comfortable managing up to 5-7 patients

Work Schedule & Orientation

• Typical hours: 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours
• Orientation dates available throughout 2026 (specific dates provided)

Certifications & Documentation Required

• Valid Driver’s License
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission

Additional Requirements

• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted unless specified otherwise)

Note: Prior travel experience is not required for this position.
