Job Opportunity: ER Travel Registered Nurse

Location: Southbridge, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Details

• Shift: 3rd Shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am)
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekends: Required

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIH Stroke Certification (AHA preferred)
• State RN License (Primary source verification required)
• Tech Certification (National)

Experience Requirements

• Years of Specialty Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum RN ER experience typical for travel assignments (confirm with recruiter).

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within past year (3M-1860-Regular or Small)
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) – immunity proof or 2 vaccines required; no declinations accepted
  • Varicella – immunity proof or 2 vaccines required; no declinations accepted
  • Hepatitis B – immunity proof or booster series; declination allowed only if non-responder after full series
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within past 10 years
• Negative TB test (2-step PPD, Q Gold, or TSPOT) within 90 days of start or negative chest x-ray if prior positive
• Drug screen: 10-panel urine drug test within 30 days of start (including Marijuana/THC)
• Seasonal Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required
• COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination required (no medical exemptions accepted)

Background and Credentialing

• Standard background check including 7-year search of locations lived/worked/schooled
• Massachusetts Nurse Aide Registry Search required for all travelers in MA
• Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance attestation required for Advanced Practice Nurses (APN)
• Professional references:

  • 2 professional references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care
  • 1 professional reference for per diem non-acute care
  • Not required for non-clinical roles

Additional Notes

• Flexible location between two campuses in Southbridge and Webster, MA
• Facility-specific COVID and flu vaccine declination forms must be completed if declining vaccines
