Job Opportunity: Certified CT Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Facility Overview

  • Busy Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Hospital
  • Mix of Siemens and GE CT scanners
  • Overnight shifts with 5-6 CT techs scanning
  • Position specifically for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight shifts

Required Specialty & Experience

  • Specialty: CT Technologist
  • Required Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum experience typical for certified CT Technologist roles (verify with recruiter)

Certifications & Licenses Required

  • BLS (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some cases)
  • ARRT Certification
  • Professional license verification (no MA Conditional Licenses accepted)
  • N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
  • MMR Vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season, no exemptions)
  • TB Test (skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break)
  • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA (within 365 days of start date)

Additional Health & Compliance Requirements

  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (strongly preferred)
  • Tdap vaccine (preferred, within 10 years)
  • Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation
  • Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation (if fit test required)

Background & Professional Checks

  • Criminal Background Check (within 45 days prior to start)
  • Massachusetts CORI background check (within 30 days prior to start)
  • National Sex Offender Registry check (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid exclusion lists)
  • Social Security Number Trace (past 7 years addresses/employment/school)
  • Education Verification (highest level achieved)
  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience (city & state required)
  • Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
  • Skills Checklist and Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission

Work Schedule

  • Overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

This is a 13-week long-term assignment for a Certified CT Technologist at a busy Level 1 Trauma and Stroke hospital in Boston, MA.
