Job Opportunity: Temp Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT) (Evenings)

Job Description

• Primarily a CT technologist position; X-Ray experience also required.
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Apply appropriate skills to facilitate diagnosis.
• May have supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control per hospital policies and OSHA standards.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal, and electronic).
• COVID-19 vaccination required (dose date on or after 10/3/23) or approved exemption; mask-wearing required on site if exempt.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during assignment; all RTO must be submitted and approved at time of application.
• Facility will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility.

Schedule

• 10 or 12-hour shifts (no schedule accommodations will be considered).
• Evening shifts.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current CT experience (highest required years of experience).
• ARRT (CT) Certification - Required.
• Massachusetts Radiology license - Required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification - Required.
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high-stress, work-intensive environment.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
