Location: Salem, Virginia

Unit: 5E Medical-Surgical
Beds: 36
Staff: 55 employees
Shift Staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 3 Techs, 1 Unit Secretary
- Night Shift: 1 Clinical Coordinator, 6 RNs, 2 Techs
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, SCDs
EMR System: Meditech

Job Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical
Years of Experience Required: 2 years
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Licenses: Registered Nurse License required
Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with post-operative patients
Competency in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management
