Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)

Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Key Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) with ICU/CCU experience
• Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years as an RN
  • Minimum 3 years ICU/CCU experience (higher value applies)
• Prior Travel Experience: Required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
• Licenses/Certifications:

  • New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required upfront)
  • Current Nursys license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current and uploaded)
• Skills:

  • EPIC experience required (indicate proficiency on profile)
  • Must be willing to float to Med Surg/Telemetry units as needed
• Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must have own vehicle
  • Negative 14-panel drug screen required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
  • Completion of verbal de-escalation training from approved providers (Welle or CPI) required for onboarding
  • Permanent address must be included in profile and match Driver License/State ID
  • No scheduling accommodations allowed; requested time off must be noted and verified before assignment start (no more than 5 days)
  • Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color (no designs, cartoons, or hoodies)

Additional Notes

• COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required
• Travelers from certain New York counties (Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington) will not be considered
• Required profile documents: Resume, skills checklist (updated within 1 year), 1-2 supervisory signed references from the past 2 years, licenses/certifications
• Non-billable orientation: 8 hours
• Multipliers for OT, holiday, call-back: 1.25x
