Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Longview, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

Seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging procedures, support other imaging technologists, and facilitate efficient patient flow. The role requires flexibility to work different shifts and at other campuses as needed. Responsibilities include troubleshooting basic maintenance, participating in quality assurance, and resolving image processing and archiving issues. Ongoing education, safety, and technical competency development are expected.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management, coworkers, and physicians to promote staff growth and physician satisfaction.
• Adapt patient care methods to meet diverse patient needs.
• Perform imaging examinations to assist patient throughput within licensure and competency scope.
• Work flexible shifts and locations as required.
• Ensure proper scanning and storage of completed exams in PACS.
• Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser and escalate issues appropriately.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions with follow-up.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or equivalent.
• Primary modality certification required in one of the following:

  • Radiography (R) by ARRT
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology by ARRT or NMTCB
• Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT or NMTCB is required.
• State licensure required: Texas MRT by TMB.
• BLS certification (AHA only) required.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Work Schedule

• Wednesday and Thursday, 7 PM – 7 AM
• Every other weekend, Friday through Sunday, 7 PM – 7 AM

Employment Type

• Full Time Travel Contract
