Description

Job Opportunity: RN - Med Surg

Location: Pulaski, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Med Surg/Tele
Number of Beds: 36
Patient Ratios: 5:1
Staffing: Monitor Tech & techs available; all staff rotate as techs if needed
Equipment: Stryker beds, phones & headsets for easy communication
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling: Every other weekend and some holidays
Floating Policy: Float as needed if census drops
Patient Experience: Hourly rounding, daily huddle participation

Certifications & Licenses Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in Med Surg specialty
