Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER) (Days)

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room (ER) experience to work in a Level I Trauma Center in Tucson, AZ. The facility provides comprehensive specialty services including heart and cancer care, advanced neuroscience, and multi-organ transplant programs.


Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current Emergency Room (ER) experience
  • Prior travel experience is required

Licenses & Certifications (All Required)

  • Active Arizona or Compact RN license
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification
  • American Heart Association PALS certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
  • Flu vaccination (declinations accepted with proper forms)
  • Valid Driver’s License

Additional Requirements

  • No hits on Nursys license verification at time of submission
  • Must complete specific learning modules prior to assignment start
  • Return to Office (RTO) requests must be less than 7 days, not allowed during first week or holidays
  • Resume must include all facilities worked, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units
  • Skills checklist specific to Emergency Room discipline required
  • Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will not be considered

Assignment Details

  • Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
  • Non-billable hours adjusted to 16 hours per assignment
  • Assignment may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty
