Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg/Tele)

Location: Southbridge, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekends: Every third weekend
Patient Ratios: 6 to 7 patients per RN during night shift

Experience Requirements

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) if applicable

  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable

    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B

  • 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (including Marijuana/THC)
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required
  • COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination required (no medical exemptions accepted)
• References:

  • 2 professional references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care roles (within 2 years of start)

Additional Notes

• Patient ratio during night shift is approximately 6-7 patients per nurse.
• The assignment is an 8-week travel contract.
• The role requires working every third weekend.
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory.
• COVID-19 vaccine or approved declination is required; no medical exemptions accepted.
• Flu vaccine or declination required for the 2025-26 season.
• Background checks and state-specific clearances are mandatory and updated annually.
