Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg/Tele)

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg/Tele)
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Patient Ratios: 6 to 7 patients per RN during night shift
• Start Date: ASAP (pending medical clearance)
• EMR System: EPIC experience required

Licensure & Certifications

• Required:

  • Massachusetts RN License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Optional:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Experience Requirements

Required Documentation & Compliance

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella immunity proof or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or booster protocol
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within past 10 years
• Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (including Marijuana/THC)
• Seasonal vaccinations or declinations:

  • Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required for 2025-26 season
  • COVID vaccine or facility-specific declination (no medical exemptions accepted)

Competency Requirements

This position is ideal for RNs with Med/Surg and Telemetry experience who are comfortable working night shifts and have EPIC EMR proficiency. The assignment is a 13-week travel contract in Massachusetts with a structured weekend schedule and patient ratios typical for night shifts.
