Job Opportunity: Temporary Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (Nights)

Location: Tawas City, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Schedule:

• Wednesday to Friday: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday to Tuesday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off

Job Description

• Assist radiologists and physicians by producing high-quality computerized tomographic and radiographic images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform CT studies following protocols, tailoring exams based on patient history and radiologist instructions.
• Administer IV and oral contrast materials according to protocols and monitor patients’ physical and mental condition throughout procedures.
• Provide radiation protection using gonadal shielding and collimation.
• Perform nursing duties including sterile procedures assistance, vital signs collection, venous puncture, and documentation of patient data.
• Identify and respond to allergic reactions or urgent medical conditions during procedures.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Active CT Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Work history and skills checklist relevant to CT, current within 1 year.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Toshiba or Canon CT equipment.
• Prior travel work experience preferred (not required).
• Experience with Epic EMR system preferred.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility (local candidates will not be considered).
