Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Lima, Ohio
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide patient care during assigned shifts, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation using age-specific criteria.
Make clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and skills.
Assist in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries.
Must float to all units within skill level and scope of practice. Refusal to float may result in being sent home without pay for the week.

Required Qualifications

Specialty Experience: Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience.
Licensure: Active Ohio RN license (Ohio or Compact) verified through Nursys.
Certifications:
- American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support)
- American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Skills: Current skills checklist pertinent to Med Surg/Telemetry, updated within the last year.
