Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist (OR Rad Tech)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Description

• Operating Room Radiologic Technologist
• Requires 5 years of experience in specialty

Required Qualifications

• License: ARRT certification specific to X-Ray Technologist
• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some locations)
  • ARRT Certification
• Health Requirements:

  • N95 Fit Test (must be completed prior to start and updated annually)
  • Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
  • TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
  • Massachusetts CORI check within 30 days prior to start
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start
  • Social Security Number trace and education verification required
• Other Requirements:

  • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation (if fit test required)
  • Submission of 2 recent professional references (minimum 1 supervisor)
  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
  • Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Additional Notes

• MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
• No religious exemptions for N95 fit testing or influenza vaccine
• Fit testing cannot be done onsite except in limited locations for extensions
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an OR Radiologic Technologist
