Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM
• Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: MRI Technician / MRI Technologist
• License: ARRT certification required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Fit Test for N95 respirator (must be completed prior to start and updated annually)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • MMR: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines OR proof of immunity via blood test
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30), no exemptions allowed
  • TB test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity strongly preferred
  • Tdap vaccine preferred within last 10 years
• Background Checks and Verifications:

  • Criminal background check including Massachusetts CORI within 45 days prior to start
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start and updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days of start and annually
  • Social Security Number trace and education verification required
• Additional Documentation:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
  • Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
  • Skills checklist and candidate submission coversheet required for submission
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required for onboarding

Experience Requirements

• Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard MRI Technologist experience expected (typically 1-2 years minimum)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Notes

• MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.
• Fit testing cannot be done onsite; must be completed prior to start.
• No religious exemptions for vaccines or fit testing.
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray.
