Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Skilled Nursing

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking an experienced RN for Skilled Nursing units. The role involves providing nursing care using the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. The RN will administer medications and treatments, document care, develop and execute patient care plans, and participate in performance improvement activities. The position may require floating to other inpatient units based on census.


Schedule

  • Rotating schedule between weekday and weekend shifts
  • 0.9 FTE day shift (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM)

Required Qualifications

  • Current Wisconsin RN License
  • CPR Certification
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year nursing experience (implied by "experienced RN")
  • Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Responsibilities

  • Utilize nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments per standards and state laws
  • Document care according to standards
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Participate in unit performance improvement and shared governance
  • Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units as needed
  • Apply critical thinking for patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately

This position is suitable for RNs with experience in skilled nursing who are comfortable with rotating shifts and floating between units.
