Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab RN (Contract)

Job Details

Discipline / Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Cath Lab
Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 8 weeks (with potential for short extension)
Patient Population: Adults only (Inpatient/Outpatient interventional cardiac services)
Work Environment: Cardiac Cath Lab with 4 labs, approx. 15-23 cases per day
Orientation: Up to 1 week of unit orientation provided
Additional Info: Procedural scrubs provided, free parking on site

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
Associate's degree
Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications
Valid state nursing license (IL state license - IEMA)
ARRT or RTR certification
Previous experience with EPIC charting system

Highly Preferred

RCIS certification (CCI)
Previous EPIC Cupid experience

Required Skills

Aseptic technique knowledge
Sheath pulling
TR band placement/removal
Line securement
EKG/cardiac rhythm interpretation
IABP/Impella experience

Prior Travel Experience
