Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Radiology

Job Description

• Coverage needed across multiple Radiology sites within 75 miles of the facility.
• Weekend rotation shift.
• Cat Scan and MRI experience preferred but unit-based training will be provided to qualified candidates.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Jersey or compact license in hand.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA only
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only
• Prior experience in Radiology preferred (Cat Scan and MRI).
• Must pass various competency exams including medication, dysrhythmia/EKG, and core competency exams annually with at least 80% score.
• Pass/fail testing onsite required for telemetry competency and medication exam.
• Physical exam within 72 hours of contract signing stating good health and no physical limitations.
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 1 year of assignment start, must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 30 days of start, completed within 72 hours of contract signing.
• Immunizations and health documentation required within 72 hours of contract signing:

  • Flu vaccine (mandatory, no declinations accepted)
  • COVID vaccine (initial series and booster required, no exemptions)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred, not required)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B surface antibody or declination
  • Varicella vaccinations or positive titer
• Background checks including 7-year history, sex offender, OIG, EPLS/SAM, and others required.
• Education verification of highest degree required (Bachelor's in Nursing minimum).
• Employment verification for the last 7 years required.
• Two professional references required: one supervisory within 12 months, one professional within 3 years.

• Pass/fail testing acknowledgment required.
• Core competency exams (Parts I, II, III) must be updated annually.
• ECG Foundations exam required for RNs to prepare for onsite pass/fail test (exemptions apply for certain units).
