Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Position: CT Tech
  • Schedule: 3 shifts of 12 hours each, 19:00-07:00
  • Days: Scheduled Saturday & Sunday, plus either Monday or Friday

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registered Technologist (ARRT R)
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred, must be AHA or ARC certified
  • Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
  • Criminal background check within 90 days, including multi-state searches
  • Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), updated annually
  • Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
  • Immunizations and titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray within the last year, with annual updates if applicable
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
  • Medication/Pharmacology competency exam and other relevant competency exams as required
  • Valid driver's license if driving is an essential job function
  • Completion of facility-specific modules and attestations prior to start

Summary

This is a travel contract position for a CT Technologist with a focus on Radiology/Cardiology. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and prior travel experience. Candidates must hold an ARRT R license and have current BLS certification. The schedule includes night shifts on weekends and one weekday. Comprehensive background checks, health screenings, and competency verifications are mandatory.
