Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (OB Specialty)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Care for laboring, pre-term, postpartum OB patients and newborns
Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation
Use equipment including EPIC documentation system, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring

Schedule

Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
No floating to other units
Orientation: Mandatory 7 days total (Week 1: Mon-Fri, Week 2: Mon-Tues), 8-hour days

Required Qualifications

Indiana RN License
BLS (AHA only)
ACLS (AHA only)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, including cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation

Additional Information

Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
