Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (OB Specialty)
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Employment Type: Traveler - Backfill
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Care for laboring, pre-term, postpartum OB patients and newborns
- Perform vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation
- Use equipment including EPIC documentation system, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring
Schedule
- Shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
- No floating to other units
- Orientation: Mandatory 7 days total (Week 1: Mon-Fri, Week 2: Mon-Tues), 8-hour days
Required Qualifications
- Indiana RN License
- BLS (AHA only)
- ACLS (AHA only)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, including cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation
Additional Information
- Dress code: Caribbean blue scrubs
- No information on nurse-to-patient ratio or unit bed size provided
- No mention of prior travel experience required
