Description
Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
- Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
- Orientation dates available periodically throughout the year.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous nursing experience required.
- Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 prior travel contract completed is required.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid RN license for Wisconsin.
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
- Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
- License verification and copy of required certifications.
- Work history/resume.
- One supervisory reference at time of submission.
- Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (exceptions apply with rate adjustments).
Additional Information
- OT/Holiday pay multipliers and call-back pay available.
- Charge/Precept pay available.
- On-call pay available.
This position is ideal for experienced Labor & Delivery RNs who have completed at least one prior travel assignment and are looking for a temporary opportunity in Madison, WI.
