Job Opportunity: CT Tech - Radiology

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: CT
• Location: 2nd floor, A tower
• Number of Beds: 800
• Staff per Shift:

  • Day Shift: 5 Technologists + Supervisor
  • Evening Shift: 4-5 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
  • Night Shift: 2-3 Technologists + Radiology Assistant
• Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
• EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
• Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required
• Typical procedures: Neuro, MSK, body imaging, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, pediatric imaging
• Work environment values team players who can also work independently and are self-motivated

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS Certification
• Proficient in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures
• Experience with emergency department trauma and stroke imaging

Additional Information

• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Schedule: Possible weekend shifts, shift rotations, and potential on-call (approx. 12 hours/month)
