Job Opportunity: RN - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

- Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit
- Only children’s hospital in the region with pediatric emergency room and 30 pediatric subspecialists

Unit Details
- Unit: Operating Room
- Number of Beds: 815 (hospital-wide)
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Scheduling: Variable schedule with call required
- Floating: May float to other departments
- Procedures: General surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience in robotics surgery, burn, OB/GYN, neurosurgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, trauma, and urology
Additional Information
- Broad surgical knowledge required across multiple service lines
- Advanced skills needed for variable procedures performed in the unit
- Opportunity to work with new equipment and technology in a high-acuity setting
- Exposure to a diverse surgical caseload including robotics and trauma
