Description
Job Opportunity: RN Acute Rehab
Location: Charlestown, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Work Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Minimum 36 hours per week, every other weekend
- Option to work 48 hours per week (4 scheduled 12-hour shifts)
Required Experience
- Specialty: RN Acute Rehab

Required Qualifications & Certifications
- License: Valid RN license in Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted)
- BLS Certification: AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some cases
- Primary Source Verification: Required for license and certifications within 30 days of start
- Nurse Aide Registry Check: Required within 30 days of start
- Fit Test: N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start, updated annually (no exemptions)
- MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or two MMR vaccines, or proof of immunity
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 15), no exemptions
- TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON/T-spot within 3 months of start, updated if >6 month break
- Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start, updated if >6 month break
- Criminal Background Checks:
- MGB Criminal Background Check (within 45 days prior to start)
- Massachusetts CORI check (within 30 days prior to start)
- National Sex Offender Registry check (within 30 days prior to start, updated annually)
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
- Resume: Include past 7 years of work experience with city & state
- References: 2 references within 4 years, including minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset
- Skills Checklist: Must be completed within 1 year of submission
- Education Verification: Highest level of education must be verified
- SSN Trace: Must be run with criminal check, covering past 7 years of addresses/aliases
- Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit test is required
- MGB Spaulding Orientation Summary: Required
- MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for all initial assignments and extensions
Preferred Qualifications
- Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity or declination
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years
Additional Notes
- TB positive individuals must provide documentation of a negative chest x-ray after positive test
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for vaccines or fit testing
- All documentation must be current and updated as required
