• Level 1 Trauma patients

Patient Ratios

• 1:1

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• IEMA (Illinois state license)

Required Skills

• Experience with trauma patients and the listed patient types (stroke, CTA, biopsies, drains, calcium scoring, cardiac, abdomen, pelvis, head, chest, extremities, general anatomy)
• Level 1 trauma experience
• EPIC electronic health record experience (required)

Preferred Skills

• IV starts

Support on Unit

• Respiratory Therapist available 24/7
• Hospitalist available 24/7
• Code Blue/Rapid Response Team available

Equipment

• GE and Phillips CT scanners

Floating

• Floating possible mid-shift within inpatient imaging center

Orientation

• 1 week orientation on day shift to learn workflow

Scheduling

• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• Night shift hours: 7pm - 7am
• Schedule released every 4 weeks
• Holiday coverage required based on needs
• Time off approval through manager

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Caribbean blue (no logos, camo, or denim)
