Location: Northampton, Massachusetts

Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the medical/surgical units and the Joint Center. This role involves organizing and directing nursing staff and programs to ensure effective nursing services and quality standards are met through a multidisciplinary team approach. The manager supports professional nurses, patients, nursing students, and staff, holding 24/7 accountability for staff and students in the program.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience (higher value between 3-5 years and any other stated experience)
- Previous supervisory experience in Medical/Surgical nursing required
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Leadership skills and strong clinical competence, including proficiency in nursing and improvement processes
- Excellent interpersonal, team building, collaboration, negotiation, problem solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Clinical Nurse Leader or Nursing Administration
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or currently enrolled in an MSN program
- Experience developing a Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) or similar nursing university/hospital collaborative program
Prior Travel Experience

This position reports to the Clinical Director, Medical/Surgical Services and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
