Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist (OT) - Therapy

Location: San Antonio, Texas
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Unit Information

  • Inpatient Rehab Unit
  • 32 beds
  • Staff: ~35 therapists, 50 nurses
  • Day Shift: 8 OTs, 8 PTs, 1 Rehab Aide, 7 Nurses, 3 PCTs, 1 UC
  • Patient Treatment Time: 5 to 6 hours per day
  • Equipment: H200/L300, BURT
  • EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

  • Provide inpatient rehab treatments including ADLs and evaluations
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends (minimum 2 weekends per 4-week period required)
  • Outgoing, flexible, and knowledgeable personality preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS Certification
  • Experience in a Rehabilitation setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in inpatient rehab
  • Willingness to work weekends

Additional Information

  • Floating to other Methodist Inpatient Rehab units may be required
  • Dress code: Black pants and olive scrub top
